General Rubber Extrusions

The common usage for Rubber extrusions are in applications such as sealing, noise control, vibration, and decorative trim. From a simple cord or rectangle to a complex co-extruded or clip-on product with die cutting; and even to customise compounds for our customers – QP strive to provide an extended range to meet various temperature, weather, and technical specifications.

The elastomers in our standard rubber extrusions is the weather resistant EPDM. Notwithstanding that, we are also able to offer extrusions in Silicone, Coloured EPDM, Nitrile and even Plastic. If your unique application requires a higher level of performance, then enhanced material such as Neoprene and Viton may be an option.

Moulder Rubber

Custom rubber formulations and broad molding production capabilities position us to deliver cost-effective solutions for long or short runs. Whether your application requires fuel tank gaskets, grips, vibration dampening pads for heating and air conditioning units or pump seals; QP develop and manufacture moulded rubber parts and membranes from all known rubber materials.

Our moulded products can be produced in materials such as EPDM, Natural Rubber, Neoprene, Nitrile, Butyl, Sponge Rubber, Silicone, Viton as well as Polyurethane. We can also offer a variety of material grades from flame retardant to medical/food grade.

Rubber-Metal Bonded Components

Bonding rubber to metal is a means by which rubber is mechanically bonded to a metal insert during the molding process. Typical applications for rubber bonded metal include any part requiring the flexibility of rubber and the stability of a metal. Applications range from bonding natural rubber and butyl to metals like steel and aluminum.

Components ranging in size from small mounts for motors to large locomotive suspension parts are just a sampling of rubber to metal bonded parts produced using this process. QP rubber-metal bonded products are engineered to exhibit exceptional shear, tensile and strength properties.

Surface Recoating

We work with Polyurethane material to provide advanced engineering solutions to a wide range of industry sectors. QP can mould, extrude, cast and machine PU to create various high-quality finished products. Polyurethane is an extremely durable and abrasion resistant material. It’s incredible versatility and robust properties make it the primary choice for many demanding applications.

Proven formulas are available in every colour and a wide scale of material shore hardness from 30° Shore A to 80° Shore D.
